The Ultra Security Camera (3rd Gen) has a USB-C connector, making it compatible with all Essential accessories that have a USB-C connection. This camera does not support the older Base Stations, and its battery lasts 15% longer than the Ultra 2 battery.***
Yes. HDR solves the problem with over or under exposed images with both bright and dark areas in the same picture. The Ultra Security Camera (3rd Gen) automatically determines when to use HDR.
Yes. This camera can be used indoors and is weather-resistant for outdoor use.
Yes. The microphones can be used for two-way full-duplex conversations. They also enable noise-canceling and wind noise reduction.
Yes. You can connect the Ultra Security Camera (3rd Gen) to a VMB5000, VMB4540SmartHub.
Yes. It is only compatible with the XL housing and battery with the USB-C connection, not the magnetic base.
This camera is only compatible with Arlo-certified USB-C and universal solar panels.
Yes. This camera will detect your smoke/CO alarm if you are on a secure plan.
Reduce excessive motion-triggered notifications with a Secure Plan by filtering based on type (person, package, vehicle, animal) and location within the camera’s view (e.g., driveway vs. public street).
Just press and hold on Push Notification to snooze alerts for that camera for set period of time, e.g. when gardening or washing the car.
You can even create your own custom detections for when a particular car or person is on the driveway, or a cat jumps on/off the couch.
